Sun 24 March 2013 – Ropley 10k cancelled for 2013 ...

It is with much regret that the organising committee have taken the decision to cancel the Ropley 10k Road Race for 2013, together with the children’s races.

Unfortunately, this has become necessary due to difficulties in obtaining permission from the local authorities to close the roads, which is essential for runners’ safety.

We are now looking forward and working with the local authorities to see if the obstacles faced this year may be overcome for 2014.

Previous years’ events could not have taken place without the considerable help and assistance from volunteers and we would like to thank all those who have supported and helped us in running the event so successfully.

Any news for the 2014 event will be posted here as soon as further information becomes available.
