Alresford 10k Road Race and Fun Runs
Organised by the Rotary Club of Alresford, the inaugral Alresford 10k was held on Sunday 15 June 2008. The main event being a 10k road race through the countryside around Alresford.
2009 events will be held on Sunday 14th June, taking a similar format to 2008, with the fun runs in Arlebury Park preceding the 10k and 4k races. Exact timings are being finalised, details will be posted on their website as soon as they are available ...
Hursley 10km Cross Country Race
First held on Sunday, 23rd September 2007 and again last year on Sunday, 28th September, this event has proven to be a great success.
It starts from John Keble School, Hursley, near Winchester and incorporates a main race of 10km starting at 10am followed by a kids 1 mile fun run at 12pm.
We understand the organisers will be holding the event again in 2009. Full details will be available on their website in due course.
